A DAO to DAO Collaborative Anthem
The analogy I often use when referring to my Web3 experience to date is the one about MySpace and how it opened the doors to discovering International Hip Hop and led to a multitude of collaborations. The same might not be said for the pimp my profile gang, but for me, it inspired a dream that birthed the Rare Vandal’s desire to connect across cultures, through the digital domain and to broader horizons.

If you’re in the know, then you know I’ve recently begun unshackling time to freely embark on personal projects and creative pursuits, after having spent the past 8 months focused on bridging and empowering communities by way of NxM. And what does that mean? You guessed it! New music is on the way!
The journey to the Rare Vandal Anthem begins with a combination of 3 DAO to DAO collaborations, partially supported by Creatives DAO, to showcase the talents within the NEAR ecosystem and this amazing community. The first, by way of the BeatDAO, is a hunt for the beat that will become the backing track to the anthem, and thus inaugurate this brave new beginning and officially launch the VanDAO.

The Artwork Comes Next
For the 2nd DAO to DAO collaboration I reached out to the good people at HypeDAO to set up an exclusive Hype Battle that will go down early February 2022. The HypeDAO council will determine the Top 3, after which I will be running a poll for the VanDAO community to decide whose entry will become the Cover Art for my Rare Vandal Anthem. Oooooweee! I’m already HYPE!
The artwork selected will be exclusive to the NEAR release edition and the artist will share in the sale and secondary royalty

We’re taking it to the streets of the Metaverse with this 3rd DAO to DAO collaboration as we team up with MetaVerse DAO to produce a Music Video for the Anthem that will be shot inside Cryptovoxels and minted as an NFT. To make this happen, I’m bringing in my mother and my cousin, who are both filmmakers with decades of experience into the mix and we will create something out of this world!

I’ve got some other pretty wild tricks up my sleeve for this project that are just being put into motion now.
