A Hype Battle for the Anthem
Phase Two of the Rare Vandal Anthem
This has been the most exciting way I’ve created a song in a very long time. Usually I just bang something out in the studio over a beat I like and commission an artist to do that cover and release it, but this time around I’ve utilized the VanDAO and embarked on a multi-DAO collaboration with a 3 Phase rollout. Now that Phase One is over and February has arrived it’s time to launch into the HYPE Battle!
Let The Battle Begin!
This 7th of February we launch the “Rare Vandal Hype Battle” together with HypeDAO, from which will emerge the Official NEAR Ecosystem Cover Art for the Rare Vandal Anthem 1.
The Artwork will be used for an exclusive Audio NFT Drop in partnership with DAOrecords on NEAR. More on that later! What’s important to bring up now is that the chosen artist will be included on both sale & secondary royalty splits + receive NEAR as their reward!
Style Narrative:
A CyBoh (cyber-bohemian) clad Rare Vandal is in motion escaping from a crumbling city with a walkie in one hand and a microphone in the other.
Like the poster above, insert the song name and the details along the top
- It can be a rough sketch and in black & white if you don’t want to spend too much time and effort until chosen (if you’re the lucky one).
- The background can be “Blade Runner” style cyber-dystopia or something similar. Use your imagination!
- The Character should resemble Vandal and the artwork does NOT need to be minted.
